The Globe Theatre in London is a haven for fans of all things Shakespeare. Like everywhere else they’re currently closed to the public, but you can still enjoy their performances online.
They’re streaming a selection of Shakespeare works via their YouTube channel for free, though they are encouraging donations.
From 7pm this evening they’ll be showing their 2009 production of Romeo and Juliet:
The other plays that they’re showing, with a different one available every two weeks are:
- The Two Noble Kinsmen
- The Winter’s Tale
- The Merry Wives of Windsor
- A Midsummer Night’s Dream
